Are you concerned about and willing to work to address the environmental impacts of climate change and biodiversity loss? Join our work! Our motto is think global, act local. While our focus is county-wide, our scope includes Maryland legislation and other activities that have County impact.

Meetings are open to all and held on the third Saturday of the month, except for a summer break in July and August, from 10a.m. until noon, usually via Zoom. For information about volunteering or meetings, contact Karen Russell, ccwgfredco@gmail.com.

We are currently looking for several volunteers:

• Website manager. Make page updates, add news items, and help keep the website fresh and timely.
• Secretary. Take Zoom meeting notes, follow-up to requests for information; assist in meeting and event planning, record keeping.
• Communications. Draft fliers, publicize events, write news posts.
